March means one thing for real estate agents: MIPIM. The expo- established during the ’90- allows to the most important stakeholder of the real estate world to gather in one place, in order to meet and to make useful connections. 

This year’s theme “The Future is Human” is strongly related to the previous year’s one, “Engaging the Future”: the aim is to shed light on city- dwellers. In fact, according to the UN, by 2050 almost two third of the world population will be city dwellers. Therefore, what services should a city provide in order to make its inhabitants life good as well as eco-friendly?

The conferences scheduled will try to answer this question.  Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is going to be the keynote speaker of the 2020 MIPIM edition: his speech- planned for Wednesday 11th March at 10.00 am, in the Gran Auditorium- will focus on the relationship between technology and the real estate world. 

On Thursday 12, the prestigious MIPIM Awards Ceremony will be held: they are considered as the Oscars of the real estate world. The Ceremony will honour the best projects from all around the world both completed and yet to be built. Since 1991, MIPIM Awards collected  2.400 subscriptions from candidates coming from 88 countries and delivered 165 trophies.
